Kingfisher at work... by Bakerdezign Kingfisher at work... by Bakerdezign
The Vought ES-5A in flight, performing early warn patrol Based on Bispro's profile drawing of his ES-5A whatif design.
I just liked how his profile drawing looked so,I drew this up by looking at his work. Like to know what Bispro thinks of it...

Whoops! Just realized I was in the wrong page... The question was about Bakerdesign's drawing, not the artwork that inspired him... Sorry to you both!!! :/

Wow, thank you so much! I'm neither the most conversant with graphic software nor the most imaginative of imagers... but I guess with a combination of a bit of both I make do okay... ;)
Thanks a lot for dropping by and leaving such an encouraging comment!

It's certainly and interesting design, and well thought-out too, although I'd say that the positioning of the dorsal radome would demand extra vertical fins to retain stability. :p

You're right, because aircraft that carry a radar dome that was shaped like this, had the multi rudder system. Thanks for the critique...

No problem. :meow: I don't understand the physics of why the extra vertical surfaces are needed, but apparently the radome creates complexities in the airflow. :p

Very cool. Kinda butt-ugly, but in a graceful kinda way (Like an A10)
