Strikebird

Military Air Assessment Quarterly,issue 1,2018: The Dept. of the Navy in a first phase evaluation for a Future Long range Attack System or LRAS,accepted primary candidates from Northrop Grumman and Boeing. Boeing's offer of the A-20 Strikebird was put through only computer simulation of viability of mission,which,it passed with a core score of 95.3,compared to the Intruder 2's score of 94.99. As of this writing,it is not known if actual fabrication of either aircraft has been done. With the high cost of exotic materials and advanced systems that will be used in such aircraft,it may all be just an exercise in vapor ware,Joshua Ulstrath,editor.....
